The mission of the City of Devine Community Center is to provide an event center on a for-rent basis for various events such as meetings, conferences, trade shows, dances, banquets, fundraisers, birthday parties, anniversaries, weddings, graduations, reunions and other large hall facility events in an effort to support our community’s event center requirements.

The Community Center is equipped with a full service Kitchen, Stage area and Men and Women Restroom facilities. Tables and Chairs are included with any reservations made and to be used only at the Community Center.

The City of Devine is pleased to announce that we have lowered our rental rates for the Dr. George S. Woods Community Center. The new rates are effective as of July 1st, 2010. The rental fee is $350. If the reservation is for a bridal or baby shower, then the rental is only $100. There is an additional fee if you would like all of the tables and chairs set up. An additional $50 is required for use of the facility ½ day prior to event for decorating purposes, if needed. All reservations require a $100 security deposit. The date will not be reserved without the deposit. The deposit is refunded (after cleanup) within 10 days after the event. The deposit will only be refunded to the person who signs the contract.
